A golden mask of Tutankhamun, the Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter in the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings. Made of solid gold, decorated with lapis lazuli, turquoise, and carnelian, weighing over 10 kilograms.
